          Residency Task Force

          In 2009, the Virginia General Assembly tasked the Virginia State Board:
          To promulgate rules and regulations to ensure the uniform application of the law for determining a person’s residence for voter registration.
          The State Board of Elections has formed a task force of interested parties to draft the rules and regulations. 
          The Board is chaired by Jean Cunningham and comprised of:
          • Joyce Braithwaite, General Registrar, City of Winchester
          • Tom Bunnel, Republican Party of Virginia
          • Marty Caldwell, Electoral Board, Orange County
          • Cynthia Chappelka, Electoral Board, Montgomery County
          • Rebecca Glenberg, ACLU of Virginia
          • Olga Hernandez, Virginia League of Women Voters
          • Tracy Howard, General Registrar, City of Radford
          • Steven Jones, Virginia21
          • Susan Obenshain, Electoral Board, City of Harrisonburg
