SBE WEBSITE WILL UNDERGO ELECTION DAY FACELIFT ~New SBE Home Page to be Launched in Order to Assist Voters ~
RICHMOND, VA- A new version of the State Board of Elections homepage will be available on November 4th in order to make valuable information more accessible to Virginians on Election Day. The change in the homepage is being made to help voters navigate the site. On Election Day, time is of the essence for election officials and voters alike. Thus, every possible action is being taken to ensure the integrity, uniformity and efficiency of the November 4th election. Options to check voter registration status, find polling places, view sample ballots and file complaints will be linked on the front page. In addition to these helpful links for voters, election results will be available through live feed. Until the live feed begins, a countdown to Election Day 2008 will be available on the website.
