to the time for the 1:00 p.m. news briefing that was listed in the media

there will be no formal 1:00 a.m. news briefing.
There is also a
correction for Paul Stenbjorn’s contact information.
Also, new information
is included in this advisory is designated by [NEW].

Election
Day
Briefings:
In anticipation for requests for interviews on Election Day and in order to
accommodate your requests in a timely fashion, there will be two scheduled
briefings and four updates from the Virginia State Board of Elections.
Please note, the difference between the briefings and updates is that
briefings will be longer and more in-depth. Updates will be precisely
what the name implies, a brief update on what is occurring throughout the
state on Election Day.
Also, satellite time has been purchased and the briefings and updates will be
uplinked by WCVE in Richmond. If you are sending a camera crew to
attend the updates and briefings, keep in mind no live cameras are permitted
since a pool feed is being provided. If you plan to downlink the
briefings and updates please refer to Satellite Coordinates for additional
information.
Please keep in mind, there may be minimal progress reports available during
the updates and briefings. However, you will have time to ask
questions.
