CORRECTED STATEMENT FROM THE STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS

Number and Percentage Increase of Machines was Incorrect in Original Release

 

 

 

RICHMOND, VA- The corrected information is as follows: The State Board has confirmed that the number of voting machines in Virginia has increased from approximately 5,989 in 2004 to approximately 10,600 in 2008 – an increase of 77 percent.
