Localities with a Central Absentee Precinct

A Central Absentee Precinct (CAP) is a precinct established in the courthouse or other public building in a county or city for the receiving, counting and recording absentee ballots cast in the county or city.  The decision to establish or abolish an already established CAP is made by the governing body of the county or city by ordinance.  The ordinance establishing a CAP must state for which elections the CAP precinct shall be used.
